My Story
My name is Melissa & I am the Director of The Scented Sunshine team!
My story starts off by just wanting to join to help a friend & get the discounts! I was sitting on my couch scrolling on Instagram when I saw my friend post a $20 join special for Scentsy. I didn't ask any questions. I skimmed through the website, thought I would love the product because I was tired of buying candles that barely had any smell to it. So I thought... what do I have to lose? $20??? I spend more on my mani/pedi! So I took the leap!
Fast forward to when I got my kit with testers, catalogs, and samples. I opened it up with my daughter and for whatever reason, the Scentsy spell came over me & I was head over heals with literally EVERYTHING in my kit. I shared with friends and family and told them that I was selling Scentsy as a "side hobby" because I had a "day job", running another home based business with my husband. But then the orders started to come in and I started to see the potential in the business.
Along the way, I created new friendships with other consultants that I don't know AT ALL! So, not only did I fall in love with the products, but I fell in love with the community.
I started to see the my self in the future running this business FULL TIME and created a team of my own. ONLY FOUR months in, and I promoted to one of the highest ranks in the company. I am now a DIRECTOR and I couldn't be happier. I do Scentsy full time and in all seriousness, I don't know why there aren't more people doing it.
I spend so much more quality time at home with my family. I have the freedom to come and go as I want. I am my own BOSS. I create my own hours. Life couldn't be better!
